The shock covers are made of a high quality super cross-elastic textile .
A strong, durable material. They can be washed over and over again without loosing their color. They are sewn with a special designed machine not to hinder shock movement in any way. The shock covers are stretched over the spring and tucked in at both ends under the spring retainer. They are sized to fit the exact diameter of the springs. Easy to cut for different lenghts without fraying out.

Reasons to use shock covers:
Shock covers are the key to keeping your shocks working properly and not wearing out prematurely. They do this by keeping out dirt, mud, dust, etc.. They pay for themselves by reducing the number of shock rebuilds. What happens is this: dirt and dust collect on the shock shaft and creates a sandpaper like texture on the shaft. When the shaft moves up and down, the o-ring gets sanded down creating leaks and poor performance. The shock oil becomes contaminated and the o-rings have to be changed. Shock Covers slow down this process by keeping dirt out.
